Andhra Pradesh AEE Recruitment Exam Begins For 629 Posts
An examination began to select people for 629 Assistant Executive Engineer jobs.
These jobs are in several power companies in Andhra Pradesh.
The first test was for Civil Engineering candidates.
About 12,301 of the 16,183 scheduled candidates took that test.
More tests will be held for Mechanical, Telecom/Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
The examinations are taking place at 94 centres.
Officials used fingerprints, identity checks and cameras to prevent cheating.
They also protected the question papers with encryption and used mobile jammers.
The tests will continue through August 27.
The AP Power Recruitment Test-2026 began on August 23 to fill 629 Assistant Executive Engineer posts.
Of 16,183 candidates scheduled for the Civil Engineering test, 12,301 attended the computer-based examination.
A total of 1,05,566 candidates applied for posts across five Andhra Pradesh power utilities.
Examinations are being held from August 23 to 27 at 94 centres in Andhra Pradesh and other States.
Authorities used biometric checks, encrypted question papers, CCTV monitoring, randomised seating and mobile jammers to secure the process.
