Gujarat Police plans to create 41 special teams to fight illegal drugs.

At least one team will operate in each district, with extra teams in some large cities and Kutch.

These teams will work with a larger Anti-Narcotics Task Force.

They will investigate drug cases and send regular updates to the task force.

Each team will have eight officers, but the police will not hire new people for these positions.

The plan follows several large drug seizures in Gujarat.

Police also want to improve how officers collect and protect evidence.

A computer tool called NARIT-AI may help officers understand drug laws and investigate cases.
