Several rain-making weather systems are active over Madhya Pradesh.

They have caused heavy rain in many parts of the state.

Some rivers, streams and ponds have filled up and overflowed.

Water levels also rose near Sendhwa, Barwani, and other locations.

Four gates of the Ban Sujara Dam were opened in Tikamgarh.

More heavy rain was expected in several districts on Monday.

The western parts of the state could continue receiving rain as the weather system moves toward Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Forecasters said rain should slowly become less intense after September 15.

However, some areas may still receive light to heavy showers during the following seven days.
