Fitness and sports are keys to youth development: Dr Chennamaneni Vikas · thehansindia.com

A kind doctor named Dr Vikas wants children in villages to be healthy and strong.

He leads a group called the Prathima Foundation that helps communities.

The group built a new outdoor exercise park in a village called Hanumajipet.

Dr Vikas opened the park on Monday.

The head of the village had asked for this park before.

Dr Vikas said the village is known for arts and culture, and it can also be known for sports.

He told young people that exercising and feeling good in their minds help them succeed in life.

He asked the government to build better sports grounds and hire more Physical Education teachers.

India has special programs like Khelo India and the Target Olympic Podium Scheme to help young athletes.
