Amber to begin Oppo, OnePlus, Realme production in March 2027

Amber Enterprises is a big Indian company that makes things for other brands, almost like a factory that builds toys for other toy companies.

Now Amber has agreed to make mobile phones for three famous phone brands: Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme.

The phones will have those brand names on them, but Amber will do the factory work.

Amber will start practicing production in the March 2027 quarter and begin making phones for sale shortly after.

In the first year, they plan to make about 8 million phones - that is more than one phone for everyone in a very big city!

In the second year, they hope to make almost twice as many, around 15 to 16 million phones.

Amber has also hired a special leader just for the phone business, called a chief operating officer.

A long time ago, a Chinese company called BBK Electronics started phone brands like Oppo and Vivo, which now say they run independently.

These brands are very popular in India, together holding a large share of the phone market.

Amber also makes circuit boards, and the materials for those are getting costlier because computers used for artificial intelligence need the same materials too.
