MLA Rakesh seeks funds for Nizamabad · thehansindia.com

Rakesh Reddy is an elected representative from the Armoor area in Nizamabad district.

He said the district is not receiving a fair share of government funds and new businesses.

He asked the state government to improve roads, facilities, and other infrastructure.

He also wants an airport built at Jakranpally.

Plans for the airport were made nearly 20 years ago, but the necessary proposals were not sent with enough state support.

Reddy said some people from Nizamabad who went abroad for study or work are returning because circumstances have changed.

He wants new companies to come to the district and provide them with jobs.

Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu said the government would send the airport proposals to the Centre.
