Revanth Reddy Seeks Faster Telangana Airport Development, Tourism Connectivity

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy wants two airports in the state to be developed more quickly.

The airports are in Adilabad and Mamunur near Warangal.

He asked the central government to help improve air travel, tourism, trade, and industry.

Telangana has already completed the land acquisition needed for the Mamunur airport project.

The Union minister said tenders for the work would be invited within two weeks.

The tenders are expected to be finalised by December, when the foundation stone may also be laid.

Reddy also wants Adilabad airport to handle passengers, cargo, and aircraft maintenance.

Officials are studying whether seaplanes could land in Hyderabad’s Hussainsagar.
