Maharashtra CET Cell Extends LLB Option Form Deadline After HC Order; 78 Law Colleges Added · freepressjournal.in

Every year, students in Maharashtra who want to become lawyers take a test and then pick which law colleges they want to attend.

Normally, they must choose their colleges by a certain date.

But this year, some colleges were approved late, so students worried they could not pick those schools.

They asked the Bombay High Court for more time, and the court agreed.

Because of the court's decision, students now have until August 9 to choose or change their college preferences for the three-year law course.

They also got many new choices — 78 new law colleges with 3,600 extra seats were added.

Government Law College in Mumbai was one of the newly approved schools.

After students finish choosing, the results will be announced on August 12 and 13.

Then students must visit their allotted college to show documents and confirm their spot.
