MAH LLB CAP 2026: Round 1 Option Form Deadline Extended Till August 11 For 3-Year, 5-Year Courses; 98 New Colleges Added · freepressjournal.in

In the Indian state of Maharashtra, students who want to become lawyers apply to law colleges through a process called MAH LLB CAP.

A group called the CET Cell helps run this application process.

Students fill out an option form to list the colleges they want to join.

The last day to submit this form was August 9, but it has been moved to August 11.

That gives students two extra days to decide.

The reason for the extra time is that many law colleges are still waiting to be approved.

These colleges need approval from the Bar Council of India and their universities.

Since August 5, 98 new colleges were added to the list students can choose from.

Now there are 247 law colleges available in total for the 3-year and 5-year courses.
