Maharashtra CAP Round 3 Offers Engineering, Pharmacy Admission Opportunities

Maharashtra announced the third round of college admissions for students entering the second year of engineering or pharmacy.

Engineering students are joining three-year BE or BTech programmes.

In engineering, 36,803 students were considered and 3,756 got an admission opportunity for the first time.

Another 3,790 engineering students received colleges they preferred and were placed in Auto Freeze.

In pharmacy, 1,448 students submitted choices and 1,208 new students received admission opportunities.

Of those pharmacy students, 941 received colleges matching their preferences and were placed in Auto Freeze.

Students with Auto Freeze seats generally must accept those seats to continue in the current process.

Engineering students must finish admission from August 26 to 28, while pharmacy students must do so from August 27 to 29, 2026.
