Eastern Railway Announces 2026 Puja Special Trains Across Routes
Eastern Railway is adding special trains for the 2026 Puja travel season.
These trains will connect Kolkata with Agra Cantt and Kanpur Central.
Another special service will connect VGL Jhansi with Asansol.
The Agra Cantt-Kolkata trains will make nine trips in each direction.
The Kanpur Central-Kolkata trains will make eight trips in each direction.
The VGL Jhansi-Asansol trains will make 16 trips in each direction.
Services will run on selected dates in October and November 2026.
Passengers can reserve seats online or at railway booking counters.
Eastern Railway will operate Puja Special trains on three routes during October and November 2026.
Agra Cantt-Kolkata services will run nine trips in each direction between October 1 and November 27.
Kanpur Central-Kolkata services will run eight trips in each direction between October 6 and November 25.
VGL Jhansi-Asansol services will operate 16 trips each way between October 7 and November 30.
Tickets can be booked online or at railway reservation counters, with General, Sleeper and air-conditioned accommodation available.
