Two Special Superfast Trains To Boost Kanpur-Delhi Connectivity
Railways is adding two special train services between Delhi and Kanpur.
One train pair will start from New Delhi.
The other will start from Anand Vihar Terminal.
Both services will travel to Kanpur Central and return to Delhi.
They will also stop at Aligarh, Tundla and Etawah.
The New Delhi service will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The Anand Vihar service will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
These trains will give passengers more choices during the scheduled service period.
Railways will introduce two pairs of reserved special superfast trains between Delhi and Kanpur Central.
The New Delhi–Kanpur Central service will run from September 7 to November 30, 2026.
The Anand Vihar Terminal–Kanpur Central service will operate from September 8 to November 29, 2026.
Both services will stop at Aligarh Junction, Tundla Junction and Etawah Junction.
The additional trains are intended to provide more travel options and meet demand on the busy route.
