Delhi’s municipal corporation inspected properties for illegal building work and safety problems.

From September 6 to October 10, it took action against 1,046 properties.

This campaign became more intense after a building collapsed in Satya Niketan and seven people died.

The corporation sealed 282 properties and demolished 47 dangerous buildings.

Rohini had the largest number of properties facing action.

Karol Bagh had the most demolitions.

A separate collapse in Seemapuri killed five people.

After that, authorities demolished an unsafe building there and sent notices to three other houses.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the campaign would continue across Delhi.
