Honda Confirms New 2028 Sub-4-Metre SUV for India
Honda plans to bring a new small SUV to India in 2028.
It will be shorter than four metres, a popular size for Indian cars.
The vehicle will compete with models such as the Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue.
Honda says it is designing the SUV with Indian customers and road conditions in mind.
It may use a new platform for small and midsize vehicles.
The expected engine is a locally sourced 1.2-litre petrol engine.
Honda is also considering hybrid and electric versions.
The SUV will take the place of the discontinued Honda WR-V.
