Maruti Suzuki Hits Record July Production, Expands Capacity
Maruti Suzuki made a record 248,845 cars in July 2026, the most ever in a month.
They sold 196,203 passenger cars, the highest for the company.
Total sales, including small trucks, hit 200,123 units.
The company added a fourth factory in Hansalpur, raising its yearly capacity to 2.9 million cars.
Their dealer stock is low, only 16 days of cars on hand, and they have 160,000 orders waiting.
Maruti Suzuki produced 248,845 cars in July 2026, a 33% jump over July 2025.
Passenger vehicle wholesales reached 196,203 units, the highest ever for the company.
Total domestic sales, including LCVs, hit 200,123 units, an all‑time high.
Production capacity rose to 2.9 million units per year after opening a fourth plant in Hansalpur.
Dealer inventory stood at 16 days, below the industry average of 30 days, with 160,000 pending bookings.
