Tamil Nadu Budget Targets $1.5 Trillion Economy by 2036
The person who takes care of money for a state in India called Tamil Nadu gave a big speech about his plans.
His name is Dr. N. Marie Wilson and he is the finance minister.
He wants Tamil Nadu to become very rich, with $1.5 trillion dollars of things made in the state by the year 2036.
To do this, they will build new places for trucks and ships to load and unload goods, called logistics parks and dry ports.
They will also build factories that make chemicals from oil, called petrochemical industries.
They want to use computers with artificial intelligence to help new businesses start easily, using a website called a single window portal.
In the south of the state, two cities called Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli will become a special zone for rockets and space things.
India's first special city just for AI ideas, called Arivagam, will also be built with a university.
The government hopes all of this will create many jobs for young people.
