Congress Lists Opposition Achievements as Monsoon Session Ends

Congress is a big political party in India that works in the Parliament, where leaders make laws.

The Parliament meets at different times each year, and one of those times is called the Monsoon Session.

When the Monsoon Session ended, Congress leaders said not much work got done — the session had low productivity.

They said the opposition stopped some plans the government wanted to pass as laws.

Three of those plans were postponed until the winter session, a later meeting time.

Another plan was about giving the government more control over universities.
