Congress Says Modi Government 'Scared, Rattled' During Monsoon Session
The Congress party said the country's leaders were scared during the big meeting of lawmakers called the Monsoon Session.
The party said Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah did not come to the meeting until the very last moment.
Congress said all the opposition parties worked together like a team.
The party said it stopped the government from passing several new laws.
Congress said important topics like corruption in exams and money being wasted on building projects could not be discussed.
It compared this meeting to one from 11 years ago that was also not productive.
Congress asked that the Education Minister leave the job.
It also asked the Home Minister to explain what happened to students and the Prime Minister to say sorry.

Jairam Ramesh and Gaurav Gogoi said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah stayed away from proceedings and appeared only just before the Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die.
The opposition claimed five successes, including putting off One Nation, One Election, sending the FCRA Bill to a joint committee, and blocking constitutional amendment Bills on delimitation and on automatic removal of arrested prime ministers and chief ministers.
Ramesh compared the washout to the 2015 Monsoon Session, washed out over the Vyapam scam, saying 'nothing has changed in 11 years.'
The Congress demanded the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, a statement by Home Minister Shah on alleged brutalities against students, and an apology from Prime Minister Modi.
