Delhi University Opens PhD Admissions for Four-Year Graduates
The University of Delhi has opened applications for PhD courses for the 2026-27 academic year.
Students who completed a four-year undergraduate programme at the university or its colleges can apply.
Their degree must have been completed under the National Education Policy or related university provisions mentioned in the notice.
Applications must be submitted online through the university’s PhD admission portal.
The deadline is September 6, 2026.
Applicants must also take a test held by the relevant department or the university.
Most applicants need a CGPA of at least 7.5, while some reserved-category applicants need 7.0.
The application fee is Rs 250 or Rs 100 depending on the applicant’s category, and the university recommends UGC-NET or CSIR examinations for possible fellowship benefits.
