JNVST-2027 Class 6 Application Deadline Extended to August 10
There are special schools in India called Navodaya Vidyalayas, and children who want to join them in Class 6 have to take a test called JNVST.
The last day to fill out the online application form for the 2027 test has been moved to August 10, 2026.
This gives children more time to send in their applications.
Children who already filled out the form can fix mistakes on August 11 and 12.
They can only change certain things, like the exam language, category, gender, area, and disability status.
The principal of one of these schools, in Mamunoor, announced the new dates.
The test is run by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, which works under India's Ministry of Education.
Children who want to apply should finish their forms before the deadline.
Those who already applied should check their details carefully and make any needed corrections in time.
The deadline for submitting online applications for JNVST-2027, for Class 6 admission in the 2027-28 academic year, has been extended to August 10, 2026.
The extension was announced by S. Praveen Kumar, Principal of PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mamunoor, in Warangal.
A correction window will be open on August 11 and 12 for candidates who have already submitted their applications.
Corrections are limited to the medium of examination, category, gender, area, and disability status.
The admission process is conducted by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), an autonomous organisation under India's Ministry of Education.
