BMC Revives Jogeshwari Trauma Hospital CT Scanner
BMC Restores Jogeshwari Trauma Hospital CT Scanner Using Spare Part From Sion Unit · freepressjournal.in

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) fixed a broken CT scanner at the Jogeshwari Trauma Hospital by using a spare part from an old CT scanner at Sion Hospital.

The scanner had been broken for four months, causing patients to go to other hospitals for scans.

The BMC's solution saved time and money.

The hospital does about 25-30 CT scans every day.

The CT scan costs Rs 1,200, which is cheaper than an MRI scan that costs Rs 2,500.

Sion Hospital is also getting a new CT scanner with help from private companies.

This will help more patients get timely treatment, especially during the monsoon season when there are more accidents.
