Delhi has opened 25 more Atal Canteens.

These canteens sell meals for only ₹5.

People can get food twice a day.

The meals include dal, rice, roti and vegetables.

Each canteen may serve about 1,000 meals every day.

The government says 100 outlets could feed nearly one lakh people daily.

The programme is meant to help workers, poor families, students and others who need affordable food.

Former Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated the new canteens with Delhi officials.

About 95 lakh meals have reportedly been served since the scheme began.
