Karnataka is building a large development called KWIN City.

It wants universities from other countries to open campuses there.

Six universities have already signed agreements with the state.

Some universities and companies want buildings designed especially for their needs.

The government may build these facilities so the institutions can use them for 30 to 40 years.

KWIN City will also include homes, medical institutions and shared facilities.

Toyota plans to build an innovation centre there.
