T-CHIP Chief Sees Semiconductor Opportunity for Telangana, Andhra Pradesh
Sundeep Kumar Makthala said Telangana and Andhra Pradesh could play bigger roles in semiconductors.
Semiconductors are important parts used in many electronic devices.
He made the remarks at SEMICON India 2026 in New Delhi.
Makthala said Telangana could become strong in designing chips and developing related technology.
He also mentioned research, software tools and semiconductor startups for Telangana.
He said Andhra Pradesh could use its factories and industries to support manufacturing.
Its focus could include packaging, testing, electronics and supply chains.
Makthala said the two states could work together as a connected Telugu semiconductor ecosystem.
