South Western Railway Adds Bengaluru Specials to Belagavi, Bidar
South Western Railway is adding special trains from Bengaluru to Belagavi and Bidar.
The extra trains are intended for people travelling during weekends and the Dasara festival.
There will be one round trip to Belagavi, leaving Bengaluru on October 16.
It will return from Belagavi on October 17.
There will be two round trips to Bidar, leaving Bengaluru on October 9 and October 16.
The Bidar trains return on October 10 and October 17.
Both routes will have several stops along the way.
The trains will include different types of passenger coaches and compartments designed to be accessible to Divyangjan passengers.
South Western Railway announced special Express trains from Bengaluru to Belagavi and Bidar to meet increased weekend and Dasara passenger demand.
One round trip between SMVT Bengaluru and Belagavi is scheduled for October 16–18.
The Belagavi train departs SMVT Bengaluru at 7 pm on October 16 and returns from Belagavi at 5:30 pm on October 17.
Two Bengaluru Cantonment–Bidar round trips are scheduled, departing Bengaluru on October 9 and 16 and returning from Bidar on October 10 and 17.
The Belagavi service has 18 coaches and the Bidar service has 19, including Divyangjan-friendly compartments in luggage-cum-brake vans.
