SBI BSBD Accounts Keep Four Free Cash Withdrawals
SBI is changing how many cash withdrawals some customers can make for free.
The rule applies to people with Basic Savings Bank Deposit accounts.
Starting October 1, they can make four cash withdrawals each month without a fee.
ATM withdrawals, branch withdrawals, and AePS withdrawals will all be counted together.
The fifth withdrawal will cost ₹15 plus tax.
Before this change, AePS withdrawals were not included in the monthly count.
Payments and transfers made digitally will still be free.
People who use cash often will need to track their withdrawals more carefully.
From October 1, SBI BSBD account holders will receive four free cash withdrawals each month.
The fifth and every later cash withdrawal will cost ₹15 plus applicable GST.
ATM, SBI branch, and AePS cash withdrawals will all count toward the same four-transaction limit.
Digital transactions, including electronic payments and fund transfers, will remain free without a stated limit.
Customers who frequently use cash, especially AePS withdrawals, may reach the free limit sooner.
