SBI to charge ₹15 beyond 4 free cash withdrawals from Oct 1; Here's what other banks charge · CNBC TV 18

SBI is changing a fee for some special savings accounts.

Starting October 1, 2026, eligible customers can make four cash withdrawals at an SBI branch each month for free.

Every branch withdrawal after the fourth will cost ₹15 plus GST.

This rule is for the Basic Savings Deposit Account operated through the branch channel.

People with regular savings accounts may have different rules.

Online and other digital transactions will still be free and will not count as cash withdrawals.

Other banks also have free withdrawal limits.

Their branch fees can be different, so customers should check their account’s schedule.
