Patna Metro’s second corridor is getting ready for more electrical work underground.

The work is expected to cost Rs 121.12 crore, including GST.

It will install equipment that supplies electricity to metro trains and stations.

The package also includes overhead traction equipment, substations and cables.

Companies can submit bids in late September 2026.

The work is planned to take 24 months.

Corridor 2 will connect Patna Railway Station to New ISBT.

A tunnel-boring machine has also completed a 5.2-kilometre underground section on the route.
