Indian Navy's Nausena Shaurya Vatika Opens To Lucknow Public
A special new museum about the Indian Navy is opening in the city of Lucknow on Independence Day.
It is called Nausena Shaurya Vatika, and it is like an outdoor park where you can see real naval equipment up close.
You can see a big patrol airplane, big guns, torpedoes, and parts of a real navy ship.
The first two weeks, everyone can visit for free.
After that, it costs a little money, and children pay less than adults.
The museum is open from 10 in the morning to 8 at night.
The leaders of the country opened the museum back in May.
On the day it opens, navy members will raise the Indian flag there.
The museum hopes to make kids excited about the navy and about serving their country.
The Indian Navy's Nausena Shaurya Vatika museum in Lucknow's CG City opens to the public from August 15, 2026.
The museum was inaugurated on May 30, 2026 by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Entry is free for the first two weeks, after which a fee of ₹25 per child and ₹50 per adult applies.
Exhibits include a TU-142 maritime patrol aircraft, components of INS Gomati, a CET-53M submarine obstacle, and AK-726 and AK-230 gun systems.
On August 15, the 3 UP Naval Unit will hoist the national flag at the museum, which is open daily from 10 am to 8 pm.
The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will operate and maintain the museum.
