UP secures Rs 45,000 crore investment commitments from eight firms
Some very important companies have promised to give a lot of money to build factories in a part of India called Uttar Pradesh.
Eight companies together promised more than 45,000 crore rupees.
That is a huge amount of money, like many, many pocket-money collections!
The factories will make things like computer chips, electronics, and solar panels that use sunlight to make electricity.
This is good because it will create more than 25,000 new jobs for people.
Most of the building will happen in a place called Gautam Buddha Nagar.
One company is even building a big factory on 200 acres of land that can make solar parts.
The leaders of Uttar Pradesh are very happy because this helps their state grow stronger.
All of this was announced on August 8, 2026.
Eight companies committed over Rs 45,000 crore in investments to Uttar Pradesh across semiconductors, electronics, renewable energy and advanced manufacturing.
