Uttar Pradesh-Japan Meet Advances YEIDA Projects and Industrial Investment
Uttar Pradesh is meeting Japanese business leaders to encourage new investments.
The investment meet will take place from August 18 to 23.

Two companies, Escorts Kubota and Minda Corporation, plan to build manufacturing projects in YEIDA.

Uttar Pradesh will also present a plan for a 500-acre Japan City for Japanese companies and suppliers.

The UP-Japan Investment Meet 2026 is scheduled from August 18 to 23, with a CEO Roundtable in New Delhi on August 19.
More than 200 Japanese industrialists, executives, business leaders and policymakers are participating under Yamanashi Governor Kotaro Nagasaki.
Escorts Kubota and Minda Corporation will receive a virtual groundbreaking ceremony for projects reported at a combined ₹3,191 crore or ₹3,195 crore.
The projects in YEIDA are expected to create more than 10,000 jobs, including over 3,800 at Escorts Kubota and about 6,440 at Minda Corporation.
Uttar Pradesh is promoting a proposed 500-acre Japan City and investment opportunities in green hydrogen, semiconductors, renewable energy and electric mobility.
