Kerala's Idukki Withdraws Tourism Curbs as Heavy Rain Subsides

There is a beautiful place in India called Idukki, where people love to visit tea gardens and mountains.

Last week, Idukki got a lot of heavy rain.

The heavy rain caused landslides and floods, which can be very dangerous.

To keep everyone safe, the district leader put a stop to tourism at some popular spots.

The places where tourists could not visit were Munnar, Pallivasal, Kunjithanni and Vagamon.

After some days, the rain became much lighter.

The leader saw that there were no more bad weather warnings.

So on Monday, he allowed tourists to visit again.

Now visitors can enjoy famous places like Munnar, Thekkady and Vagamon once more.
