It has been raining very heavily in a part of India called Kerala.

The heavy rain has caused water to collect on roads, which is called waterlogging.

Rain can be dangerous, so leaders in charge of some areas decided to keep children home from school.

On August 7, schools, colleges and Anganwadi centres will be closed in five districts.
