MZP Seeks Governor’s Help Over Engineering Seats, Drug Campaign

The Mizo Zirlai Pawl is a student organization in Mizoram.

It asked Governor Vijay Kumar Singh for help with seven engineering seats reserved for Mizoram.

Five seats are for civil engineering, and two are for electrical and electronics engineering.

The seats at a college in Hyderabad could not be filled.

The organization has also contacted Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi.

It wants to organize trips so Mizo students can learn about other parts of India.

The group also plans drug-awareness programs in schools and other educational institutions.

The governor said he would discuss the admissions issue and the drug campaign with the relevant officials.
