Suspicion over wife ends in gelatin blast at kalaburagi home, man and teenage daughter killed · thehansindia.com

A man who worked at a stone quarry brought some very dangerous explosive material, called gelatin sticks, back to his home.

On Tuesday morning, the explosives went off inside his family's house in a village called Mataki Tanda.

The blast was so powerful that it damaged the house and scared the whole neighbourhood.

Sadly, the man and his 15-year-old daughter died in the explosion.

His wife and three other people were badly hurt, and they had to go to the hospital.

Police think the man may have acted because he was suspicious of his wife and was upset about their marriage.

But investigators say they do not yet know the exact reason for what happened.

Right now, police are trying to find out how the man got the explosives and how he carried them home.

They are also checking whether the quarry gave out explosives carefully and legally.

Police are talking to the family and collecting clues so they can understand the whole story.
