A new special court for NIA cases will be set up in Visakhapatnam.

The NIA investigates certain serious cases listed under specific laws.

This court will be able to hear these cases from anywhere in Andhra Pradesh.

The current special courts in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam will stop operating.

There are 16 cases already being tried.

Two of those cases are in the Vijayawada court.

Officials may place the new court at the VMRDA Complex in Siripuram.

The NIA already has a separate office in Rushikonda for investigations and administration.
