India’s semiconductor industry has attracted a large amount of investment.

Tracxn says companies in the sector have raised $1.4 billion in total equity funding.

Almost half of that money was raised since 2025.

The sector has 3,557 companies, although only 281 are described as funded.

Bengaluru is the biggest funding center in India’s semiconductor industry.

Tessolve Semiconductor has received the most funding among the companies listed.

Acquisitions are currently more common exits than stock-market listings.
