Company Announces Rs 40 Lakh Relief for Moshi Tragedy Families
Some workers at a garbage depot in Moshi, India, had a very sad accident.
In July, a huge pile of garbage became heavy because of rain and fell down.
Nine workers lost their lives in the collapse.
The company they worked for, Antony Lara Renewables, wants to help their families.
They decided to give each family 40 lakh rupees, which is a very large amount of money.
They also promised health insurance, to pay for the children's schooling, and to give a job to one member of each family.
The city government has already given some money, and the state government will give more.
A few families still need to finish their paperwork before they can receive the money.

Antony Lara Renewables will provide Rs 40 lakh financial assistance to the family of each of the nine employees who died in the Moshi garbage depot tragedy.
The company also agreed to provide medical insurance, bear the full educational expenses of the deceased employees' children, and offer a job to one member of each family.
Families have so far received Rs 20 lakh each, including Rs 10 lakh from PCMC and Rs 10 lakh from Antony Lara Renewables, with the remaining Rs 20 lakh to be paid in coming days.
The Maharashtra government will provide an additional Rs 5 lakh financial assistance to each family of the deceased employees.
Families are demanding permanent jobs in municipal service and housing under the Gharkul scheme, which the civic administration says it is working on.
