Madhya Pradesh Signals Possible Stipend Hike for Ayush Interns

Madhya Pradesh may increase the money paid to Ayush medical interns.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said he discussed this request with Minister Indar Singh Parmar.

He said the interns could receive good news soon.

The announcement was made at an Ayurveda Day event in Bhopal.

Yadav praised Ayurveda, yoga and pranayam for their role during the coronavirus period.

He said the Ayush market has grown greatly since 2014.

The state also opened 12 Ayush buildings costing Rs 4.70 crore.

Officials said more Ayush colleges are being built in the state.
