Modi Joins Yoga Session During Uzbekistan State Visit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Uzbekistan for two days.
He joined a yoga session in the capital city, Tashkent.
He spoke with people taking part and joined them for a group photograph.
The Yoga Federation of Uzbekistan organized the session.
India’s foreign ministry said yoga helps bring Indian and Uzbek people closer.
Modi also met Uzbekistan’s president, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Together, they laid a wreath at a site in Yangi Uzbekistan Park.
Indian community members welcomed Modi with music, dance and other cultural performances.
The two leaders planned talks about how India and Uzbekistan could work together more closely.
