Kerala Names Sparjan Kumar Transport Commissioner in IPS Reshuffle
Kerala has changed some of its senior police assignments.
G. Sparjan Kumar is now the state’s Transport Commissioner.
He replaces C.H. Nagaraju in that role.
The Transport Commissionerate oversees vehicle registration, licenses, traffic enforcement, and road safety.
The government has made the commissioner’s post equal in rank to an Inspector General at Headquarters.
