Jammu and Kashmir Government Orders Major Police Reshuffle
The Jammu and Kashmir Government changed the jobs of 14 senior police officers.
Sujit Kumar will now lead the police in Kashmir Zone.
Tejinder Singh will lead the police in Jammu Zone.
Bhim Sen Tuti has been moved to the post of IG Headquarters.
M.K. Sinha will head the Criminal Investigation Department.
Nitish Kumar will lead the Armed Police.
Other officers were assigned new roles in railways, anti-corruption, districts, and training.
The changes take effect immediately.
Sujit Kumar has been appointed IGP Kashmir Zone, replacing the incumbent arrangement.
Tejinder Singh has been posted as IGP Jammu Zone, replacing Bhim Sen Tuti.
Vivek Gupta will become IGP Security, while Uttam Chand takes charge of IGP Railways.
M.K. Sinha has been appointed ADG CID, replacing Nitish Kumar, who will lead Armed Police.
