Khammam Uses AI App, Machines to Track Road Cleaning

Khammam is using machines and a computer app to keep its roads clean.

The city’s municipal corporation launched the Khammam Clean App.

The app has a digital map of 3,271 roads.

Officials can use it to see which roads have been cleaned.

Red means a road still needs cleaning.

Yellow means workers are cleaning it and have uploaded a photograph.

Green means the cleaning is finished and stays green for 48 hours.

Black means the cleaning photograph was rejected because the road was not clean enough or still had dust.

This helps officials make sure roads are cleaned regularly.
