Pune’s water supply will be turned off for one full day.

The shutdown starts at 9pm on Wednesday, September 9.

It will continue until 9pm on Thursday, September 10.

The Pune Municipal Corporation needs to repair electrical equipment, pumps and other water facilities.

Many parts of the city will be affected.

These include areas such as Aundh, Kothrud, Viman Nagar, Kharadi, Baner and Warje.

The PMC asked residents to store enough water before the shutdown.

Some places may get water at low pressure on Friday morning as normal service returns.
