IMD forecasts heavy rainfall, thunderstorms across India on Thursday
The weather experts in India, called the India Meteorological Department, said that Thursday will be a rainy day for many parts of the country.
Lots of places will see rain, thunder and lightning.
Some places, like West Bengal, Kerala, Goa, Maharashtra, Odisha and Uttarakhand, will get very heavy rain.
Other places, like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana and Jharkhand, will also get heavy rain.
Thunderstorms come with loud thunder, flashing lightning and strong winds.
In some areas, the wind can blow as fast as 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.
Even stronger winds are expected over the sea near places like Oman and Somalia.
The weather experts told everyone to be careful because storms can be risky.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast widespread rain and thunderstorms across large parts of India on Thursday, August 6.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Kerala & Mahe, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Odisha and Uttarakhand.
Heavy rainfall warnings were issued for Delhi, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand and over 15 other regions across the country.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 30-50 kmph are expected over several states, including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh.
Squally winds of 45-55 kmph, gusting to 65 kmph, are forecast over parts of the Arabian Sea and the south Bay of Bengal.
