APSPDCL Switches to Monthly Rooftop Solar Settlements
APSPDCL is a power company in Andhra Pradesh.

Instead of waiting three months, customers now get paid every month for the extra power they send to the grid.
This helps people get their money faster and encourages more solar use.
APSPDCL has moved from quarterly to monthly settlements for rooftop solar customers.
Monthly payments are based on net metering readings of imported and exported electricity.
36,963 customers across nine districts generate 128 MW of rooftop solar power.
In June, Rs 83.88 lakh was credited to 14,786 customers; in July, Rs 68.4 lakh to 17,086 customers.
The company plans to improve billing, net metering, and settlement processes to support growing rooftop solar adoption.
