The city government of Bhopal is checking buildings to find places that are being used for business without permission.

It found many shops and offices that broke the rules.

Teams are going around every day to give warning slips to people who break the rules.

They plan to give about 500 warning slips every day in each part of the city.

On one day, they gave 557 warning slips in six parts of the city.

Most of the warning slips, 264, were given in Narela.

The city also checked about 62,500 business buildings and sorted them by the width of the road they are on.

If people ignore the warning slips, the city can pull down illegal parts of buildings or seal them shut.

Some people asked the court to stop the city, but the city wants the High Court to allow the work to continue.

The city has already torn down one illegal structure in Ganesh Nagar.
