Nuh Health Worker Arrested for Alleged Rs 2.5 Lakh Bribe
A health worker in Nuh was accused of asking for money to change a medical sample.
He allegedly wanted the change to help a boy receive a favourable medical report.
The worker first received Rs 15,000, according to officials.
He later allegedly asked for Rs 3.5 lakh.
The boy’s parent contacted the anti-corruption bureau.
Officials set a trap and say the worker was caught taking Rs 2.5 lakh.
The worker was arrested.
The healthcare centre’s senior medical officer, Dr Birpal, was also made an accused.
Monu Sharma, a multipurpose health worker in Pinangwan, Nuh, was arrested for allegedly accepting Rs 2.5 lakh.
The Haryana State Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau said Sharma sought money to alter a medical sample.
He allegedly promised a favourable opinion in the complainant’s son’s Medical Legal Report.
The complainant initially paid Rs 15,000 before Sharma allegedly demanded Rs 3.5 lakh.
A bureau trap led to Sharma’s arrest, while healthcare-centre SMO Dr Birpal was also named as an accused.
