The Maharashtra Anti-Corruption Bureau is investigating four people in a bribery case.

Two of them are police officers from Solapur.

The other two are described as private agents.

They allegedly demanded Rs 25 lakh from a licence consultant.

The money was allegedly meant to help an accused obtain anticipatory bail.

It was also allegedly meant to stop parts of the PCPNDT Act from being added to the case.

The two private agents were arrested.

A police case was filed against all four under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
