Odisha Vigilance Intercepts Tahsildar, Arrests Health Official in Bribery Cases
Odisha Vigilance officials took action in two separate cases on Thursday.
In the first case, they stopped a government officer named Muralidhar Urmal.
They found Rs 5 lakh with him, and officials said he could not explain the money satisfactorily.
Searches were then conducted at three places connected to him.
In the second case, officials accused Manoj Ranjan Nayak of asking an ASHA health worker for Rs 20,000.
